Shipping Terms and Conditions
Orders are usually processed within 2-3 hours during working hours. Please allow up to 24 hours for your order to be processed.
The Accessory Box typically ships out orders within one business day after they have been placed (this excludes weekends & public holidays). We strive to dispatch all orders the same day if they are paid for before 10 am (weekdays). However, please note that this is a best-effort service.
We ship countrywide, to your door.
Our shipping fee is R99 for any national city for packages under 5kgs and within normal package dimensions. Orders over R1000 qualify for free shipping.
We use courier services, including Pargo, Pudo (The Courier Guy), Paxi, and Bob. The choice of courier is at our discretion and may vary.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order has been processed and shipped.
The Accessory Box charges shipping fees for every shipment, unless a special promotion provides otherwise. This cost includes the freight charged by the carrier, packaging, and handling.

Application of Terms; Customer Acknowledgment
These Terms constitute a binding contract between the Customer and The Accessory Box & Yippee are AtlantInc Group Pty Ltd Platforms. The Customer acknowledges agreement and acceptance of these Terms by making a purchase, placing an order, or otherwise shopping on our Website (the “Site”). These Terms are subject to change without prior notice.
Vouchers
Vouchers are not stackable. If more than one voucher is used in conjunction with another, we will remove the discount of either voucher.

Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. All prices INCLUDE VAT unless otherwise stated.

All pricing is subject to change. We reserve the right to make adjustments to pricing, products, and service offerings for reasons including, but not limited to, changing market conditions, product discontinuation, product unavailability, manufacturer price changes, and errors in advertisements.
All orders are subject to product availability. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfil customer’s orders. If a product is no longer available, we will offer an alternative (subject to a partial refund or pay in, depending on the price difference of the alternative), or offer a full refund on the item that is out of stock.
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our Website. However, the documents and graphics published on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. We make no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site. All such documents and graphics are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
Acceptance of an order occurs once we start processing your order. Completing the order on our site does NOT constitute acceptance of an order.
If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, we maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and you have paid, we will issue a credit. We also do not guarantee that our prices listed on other websites or price engines are accurate or up-to-date.
Limitation of Liability
NEITHER THE ACCESSORY BOX NOR ITS AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. NEITHER THE ACCESSORY BOX NOR ITS AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES BY THIRD PARTIES. THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROVIDED DIRECTLY BY THE ACCESSORY BOX OR ITS AFFILIATES, NEITHER THE ACCESSORY BOX NOR ITS AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE RAND AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICE(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. We will not be responsible for any delays in delivery that result from any circumstances beyond our control, including without limitation, product unavailability, carrier delays, delays due to fire, severe weather conditions, failure of power, labour problems, acts of war, terrorism, general insurrection, acts of God, or acts of any government or agency.
We will not be held responsible for any typographical errors, including instructions, descriptions, prices, or terms.
We will not be held responsible for missing, damaged, or late package delivery by the shipper.
Please ensure you have delivery of your item before scheduling 3rd party services to come to your premises. With this said, The Accessory Box will not be held liable for electrician, plumber, handyman, or any other 3rd party service fees/call-out costs incurred.
As per the nature of electronic items, The Accessory Box will not be held liable for 3rd party fees/callout costs should the device be faulty. Full warranty will of course be honoured for any faulty item(s) themselves.
Orders; Payment Terms
Payment is due before shipment, unless credit terms have been arranged in advance.
We allow a maximum of 48 hours to complete order payment. Failure to do so will result in the order being cancelled.
Payment Methods
We use PayFast as our payment gateway. This means we accept most major payment methods, including debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), EFT, Instant EFT, Zapper, and any other methods PayFast makes available. You can find more information about PayFast and their services on their website: https://www.payfast.co.za/ or their documentation.
Standard Return of Merchandise (RMA) and Warranty Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase from us. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the product to us, and we will either refund, credit, repair/replace it, subject to the below terms and conditions.
You can return purchases for a refund (excluding shipping). Please notify us within 7 days and ensure the item is ready a maximum of 10 days after the delivery date.
Please log your return request within 7 days of receipt of your item. Please ensure to select the correct reason for return:
- Changed my mind / Item exchange
- Faulty on arrival
- Incorrect item received
Warranties and Guarantees
Warranties and guarantees on products sold by The Accessory Box are subject to what is set and offered by the manufacturer/brand/supplier. The Accessory Box will facilitate the fulfilment of these warranties. However, the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with additional processes such as administration, returns, and logistics.
Any disputes relating to ordered items being short/incorrectly shipped will only be entertained if reported to The Accessory Box within 3 days of delivery/collection.
Refunds are subject to inspection of item(s). In some cases, items will need to be sent to the supplier for evaluation and testing. This can take up to 15 working days. Once a refund has been approved, this may take 3 – 5 business days to be processed.
All returns are subject to up to a 30% restocking fee if the item is no longer in BRAND NEW condition or if the item seal/packaging has been broken.
Please repackage safely and include all original product packaging.
All software products are unfortunately not eligible for credit or refund once purchased.
After the 6-month period, you will no longer be eligible and won’t be able to receive a refund. We can however replace or repair depending on the outcome after our team of professionals has inspected the product.
Should a warranty sticker not be present on an item, the warranty is immediately null and void.
Batteries are covered under warranty, but please note that GEL, AGM and LEAD ACID have limited cycle runs. These are typically around 200 cycles and may run out before the end of the warranty. Once the cycles have been depleted, it means the battery has reached the end of life and will no longer be a warranty claim.
The Accessory Box reserves the right to refuse a refund if the item is damaged from misuse, items are missing, or if the product is altered in any way.
The Accessory Box or its affiliates are not responsible for damage or loss of any kind that may occur as a result of using or misusing any product purchased from us.
The warranty will no longer be valid, and The Accessory Box will not be responsible for damage or injury of any kind resulting from:
- Electricity fluctuations and surges, lightning strikes, faults in the building wiring, faulty installations, and improper use of controls
- Failure to use the product in accordance with the operating instructions and or general misuse and or abuse
- Damage caused by a superior force (vis maior) or if the product has been infested with insects or pests
- If the product is physically damaged after it left the store
- If water or liquid caused the damage to the product
- If the warranty seal is tampered with
- Any repair or tampering by an unauthorized person or attempt to repair or tamper with the equipment, or use of parts not supplied by authorized agents, or alterations or modification to the equipment shall render the warranty null and void.
3D Printers (If you sell these, otherwise remove)
By purchasing and/or using a 3D printer from The Accessory Box, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Filament Compatibility and Quality:
The Accessory Box is not responsible for the quality, performance, or compatibility of any filament used with the 3D printer. The user is solely responsible for selecting and using appropriate filaments. Issues arising from the use of specific filaments, including but not limited to clogs, jams, or print failures, are the sole responsibility of the user. The Accessory Box does not guarantee print quality or success with any particular filament. - Wear and Tear of Components:
3D printer components, including but not limited to nozzles, print beds, and extruders, are subject to wear and tear with use. The Accessory Box’s warranty, if applicable, covers manufacturing defects, but does not cover normal wear and tear. The user is responsible for maintaining the 3D printer and replacing worn components as needed. Costs associated with replacement parts and maintenance are the responsibility of the user. - Software and Slicer Usage:
The Accessory Box is not responsible for the functionality, compatibility, or performance of any third-party software or slicer used with the 3D printer. The user is solely responsible for selecting, installing, and using appropriate software and slicers. Issues arising from the use of specific software or slicers, including but not limited to print errors or machine malfunctions, are the sole responsibility of the user. The Accessory Box may provide recommendations for software and slicers, but makes no guarantees regarding their performance. - 3D Model Quality and Design:
The Accessory Box is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any 3D models used with the 3D printer. The user is solely responsible for obtaining and using appropriate 3D models. Issues arising from flawed or unsuitable 3D models, including but not limited to print failures or inaccurate prints, are the sole responsibility of the user. - User Skill and Experience:
Operating a 3D printer requires skill and experience. The Accessory Box is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from improper use of the 3D printer or a lack of user experience. The user is responsible for learning how to operate the 3D printer safely and effectively. - Manufacturer Software/Firmware Updates:
The Accessory Box is not responsible for any issues, malfunctions, or performance changes that may occur as a result of manufacturer-released software or firmware updates. Manufacturers may periodically update their software or firmware, and these updates may alter the functionality or performance of the 3D printer. The user is responsible for installing and managing these updates at their own discretion. The Accessory Box is not obligated to provide support for issues arising from manufacturer software/firmware updates.
Inverters (If you sell these, otherwise remove)
Please see below important information below regarding the batteries at different frequencies of load shedding:
What your inverter kit CAN do
The batteries inside the inverter are rated at 200-250 cycles (high cycle batteries) or 250-300 cycles (deep cycle batteries). The Enertec and Royal batteries that we use, are some of the highest quality lead acid batteries in the market, which we have been selling for over 7 years. Based on occasional load shedding, at stage 1-4, the average lifespan is 2+ years.
What to do during INFREQUENT stage 1-4 load shedding
Keep your inverter plugged into the wall, and your appliances plugged into your inverter. It will manage charging and give backup power whilst load shedding, and your batteries will last 2+ years. The only manual intervention required (if we are lucky enough not to have load shedding for 2 months straight) is to turn off your wall socket switch that the inverter is plugged into, until the inverter starts beeping. Then turn it back on and let it recharge fully. This will help the batteries avoid sulfation.
What your inverter kit CAN’T do
As per our listing: “The batteries in this unit are designed for backup use only – not for daily charging/discharging”. As you are well aware, the reality is that Eskom has recently hit us with Stage 4 and Stage 6 load shedding, with 3 bouts of load shedding a day 🙁 Therefore, these batteries may reach their lifespan within a few months, unless Eskom lowers the consistency of load shedding. The batteries will also be further degraded due to insufficient time to recharge fully in between load shedding.
What to do during constant stage 4-6 load shedding
We highly recommend turning off the power switch on the inverter itself, when the need for power is not crucial. This will preserve the longevity of the batteries (but please keep it plugged in to the wall permanently to keep it charged). Please also ensure the inverter is set on 20A setting on the back to help recharge the batteries as fast as possible.
Does this affect my warranty?
Your warranty is unchanged and covers any manufacturing or material defects on the battery within the 12 months. However, it is very important to note that your battery capacity/runtime is related to the amount of maximum cycles (as described above) and is not time based.
Please always keep the total load shedding count of 200-250 cycles (high cycle batteries) or 250-300 cycles (deep cycle batteries) in mind when using your inverter kit.
This product is intended to be used as a best effort service to backup brief power interruptions. If you are using it for critical applications (such as to supplement inter alia oxygen devices), then please note that it is not intended for people/patients who can only survive with medical oxygen. If you do suffer from life threatening conditions, consult your doctor before buying.
The Accessory Box, its affiliates and officers accept no responsibility in the event that the product for any reason fails. The product is used solely on the user’s (including their assistance) risk. This includes inter alia material defects. As is applicable to products of this nature, the product will naturally deteriorate after extended time and/or use as well as during loadshedding. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that the product is charged and used according to its intended use and specifications. Please keep in mind that as it is of a consumable and electric nature, there is a possibility of malfunction at any time.
Inverters out of warranty
Please note that should an inverter be returned for assessment, and is out of warranty, an assessment fee of up to R900 incl vat may be applicable. Quotes will be sent for approval prior to repairs being done.
